At ham, at smoked salmon, at cheese, to the vegetables, to the potatoes… the waffles can be revisited endlessly. It is according to tastes and desires! At a time crunchy and fluffy the savory waffles are ideal accompanied by a green salad or composite. And for the dessert, why not one sweet waffle ?
The recipe for salted waffle with button mushrooms
The ingredients for 4 people :
- 250g of flour
- 1/2 sachet baking powder
- 70g butter
- 3 eggs
- 40cl of milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 100g button mushrooms
- 10cl creme fraiche
- 60g cherry tomatoes
- a few salad leaves
- a few sprigs of chives
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt pepper
The preparation stages:
Step 1 : Whip eggs with salt in a bowl, until the mixture turns white.
2nd step : Add it melted butter, Then flour and the yeast. Mix well.
Step 3: While continuing to mix, add milk little by little, to obtain a smooth and homogeneous paste.
Step 4: Wash, peel and chop them mushrooms of Paris. Fry them for a few minutes in a hot pan with olive oil.
Step 5: In a cold bowl, whisk the whipped cream. Salt and pepper, then set aside in the refrigerator.
Step 6: Pour a ladle of dough into a preheated waffle iron and let it cook 3 minutes.
Step 7: Let the waffles cool down before garnishing with whipped cream, mushrooms and Cherry tomatoes cut into quarters. Salt, pepper and decorate with chive chiselled.
